Ok, so…found out my game is wonky because custom content now does not work with the new plot from EA to take all the pleasure out of us playing our game update…so, I am in the process of removing it all, and slowly adding it back in…piece by piece. The good news is the kids have off of school, which means *I* have off of school, so I have the next 5 days to mess with it…yay! Hope to be back with news of Phoenix soon!

So…not going to say week “x” is up…
Changed the way I was doing things a bit. The week thing seemed like a good idea at the time, but it started to annoy me. It forced me to stop at points I didn’t necessarily want to stop at, it was hard to keep track of…and it was going to be 7,648,476 files if I only played a week at a time.
So, now I am just playing a few weeks at a time, and stopping when I want. So, I will be covering larger spans of time, so it will seem like more stuff is happening in each episode…cuz it is! I AM playing on epic cuz I had a few minutes of temporary insanity when I first started…
Anyhoo, beginning to think that some of these characters are never going to age, and I could SWEAR that before the update, there was a larger age gap between Eloi and Chimera, but now they are only one day apart…weird…
And since I had played ahead a bit, and already aged up the next…nameless…sexless…child, I can tell you that child is very close in age to the first two…closer then I thought they were…but whatever, I will roll with it…
So tune in and see what kind of trouble Eloi is causing…and let me know if y’all think Larry needs a good slap upside the head…

So, week six is up! I just realized I start every post now with the phrase “So, week “X” is up”, lol.
Lots of stuff going on with Phoenix and her family. I spent a LOT of time researching different topics, because I admire the efficiency of Catherine, and some of the other players. I consider myself fairly efficient, but felt there were areas that definitely needed improved upon! So, I am finished, and back to work in the Simaginary household.
This week, I am expecting a house reconstruction/makeover, as Phoenix and the gang spend entirely too much time trying to get where they need to be. I was particularly frustrated while trying to have a birthday. The morons poor confused sims kept walking in circles and dropping commands from the cue and not doing as they were told accomplishing much.

Ok, week 5 is up!
Life is more fun with a toddler. And Catherine, that *TSAL* is genius! I had no idea until I read your legacy that you could do that, I usually had an older person read the books to the toddlers!
I updated the bio page, more work to do there. I want to add current pics of Larry and Eloi, especially Eloi, so you can see her red eyes! I forgot to take them when I did the makeovers.
I also made some changes to my scorecard page, and added one or two handicaps. I know I must be nuts to be taking this many with my first legacy, but with how slow epic is going, I needed more goals. I figured since I was only a few weeks into it, it wasn’t too late to add any.
Well, off to play week 6, enjoy!

Ok, so week 3 is up! Phoenix and Larry seem to have gotten into a rut, just hanging out skilling and waiting for the little maggot baby to turn into a toddler so they can move on. I know we are not supposed to “age up” any of our sims, but quite honestly, I wish we could age babies up to toddlers, they are soooo boring like that. If I had more adults in the house I could handle more. I dunno, might be time to do it anyway, just to make things more interesting. Wonder what Phoenix and Larry think…
I am wondering if the way I have my links set up is too frustrating to navigate. I am still learning how to link everything together, and am learning by trial and error. If someone would like to offer advice, please do!

Ok, well that was neat…NOT!
So, usually what I do is I have a word doc open while I am playing. Anything that I want to remember, skill increase, promotion, etc, I minimize Sims, make a quick note, open Sims back up, and keep going. This was working well.
So, last night, I was finishing up the week. I had all my notes separated into days, had saved my game, finished cropping about half my pics, started getting dozy, so I left it until this morning when…dun dun dun…
MY COMPUTER REBOOTED ITSELF SOMETIME DURING THE NIGHT!!
Ok, so, I am running around my room freaking out like a Sim, and I thought, ok, calm down, you saved…
Yep, game saved…whew…
Pics saved…did I only have less than 20? Oh, thought I had more pics…oh well, they saved…
Word doc? BLANK….DID NOT SAVE!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!
I took a few more minutes to compose myself, and by looking at the pics I did have, and the stats in the game, I was able to highlight the most important things. I did not, however, have nice pic and text documentation of all my daily wishes like I did for the week before. I distinctly remembered that I did fulfill at least one wish every day, sometimes more, and I suppose that will have to do…
Anyway, off to start week three, and continue waiting FOREVER for that darned baby to grow into a child. I want to have more, but with only 2 adults, I am afraid I will not be able to keep them both happy. Oh the joys of epic! Enjoy week two!

Ok, Generation 1 week 1 is now posted, and I can already see that this legacy is going to be…long, lol! I was afraid that I was not going to have enough time to do everything that I wanted to do, so I am running on epic…whether that was a good decision for a first legacy remains to be seen, lol.
I have also begun a bio page, where I intend to list every character who comes into play.
I think the most shocking thing so far is finding out that Larry is evil, lol. I usually know everything about a sim before my sim marries them, and I can honestly say I don’t think I have ever played with an evil sim before. I find them quite scary, especially some of the looks they give, lol! First I considered giving him a midlife crisis, but then decided that I would try not to do that for the whole game, it would be more interesting that way.

Phoenix has been created, and her intro is complete. You can find it under Simaginary, chapter 1.
The first thing I did was delete every sim from Riverview, then generated 7 families with CAS. I used the first randomly created young adult male, and the first randomly created young adult female. The only thing I changed on the adults was hair and skin color, everything else remained as rolled. Then, I used the genetic thingy to create the children. The only time I rerolled any kids, is if I could not see their hair, or if it was not the color I was looking for. All traits, and favorites were assigned randomly, and I always took the middle LTW. My reason for doing this was I wanted an unusual variety of hair and skin colors available. Each family had a set of young adult parents, 2 teens, 2 children, and 2 toddlers, with a male and female of each. Following are the families I created:
1. Carnation family-pink hair and pink skin-all first names start with “C”
2. Scarlet family-red hair and red skin-all first names start with “S”
3. Tangerine family-orange hair and “almost” orange skin-all first names start with “T”
4. Maize family-yellow hair and “yellowish” skin-all first names start with “M”
5. Broccoli family-green hair and green skin-all first names start with “B”
6. Denim family-blue hair and blue skin-all first names start with “D”
7. Grape family-purple hair and blue-grey skin-all first names start with “G”
These 56 sims are the only sims in my town, besides my founder, Phoenix.
Each generation, I plan on “restocking” to counter the ones that die off or move out.

Well, it took me a bit of time, but I completed the score card, and got it set up just the way I wanted it. Still planning a strategy (I DID bite off a bit more than I think I can chew, lol) and also waiting for a couple of clarifications before I begin.
